The Bayswater district is made up of long avenues lined with 5 or 6 storey terraced houses. Typical is Princes Square, pictured on the right, where almost every terraced building is a budget hotel.

Located on the northern border of Hyde Park there is quick access to all the sights.
The Kings Cross Bed and Breakfast's arguably have the best value cheap hotels in London, but Bayswater is a nicer location. Most of the really cheap bed and breakfast hotels in Bayswater have gradually been upgraded but there are still some that have rooms available with shared bathrooms. Basically you get what you pay for.
