Comfort Inn Hyde Park London

Cheap Budget Value Hotel in London - Very Close To Hyde Park & Kensington Gardens

Comfort Inn Hyde Park London
Comfort Inn Hyde Park London

The Comfort Inn Hyde Park Hotel is a cheap value for money hotel in the budget hotel district of Bayswater. Bayswater itself has become noted for 2 and 3 star hotels that routinely deep discount. At this stage it should be emphasised that stars are allocated purely on the services a hotel offers. You get stars for having restaurants, lifts and other services not quality of the service or infrastructure itself.

The Comfort Inn Hyde Park is just about the only global budget chain in Bayswater that has a presence. Nearly all others are independent hotels in the budget sector at least.

For the budget traveler looking for cheap hotel accommodation the area around Queensway and Bayswater probably has little equal with a huge range of affordable restaurants, mini-supermarkets, pubs and shopping for all your basic needs, including launderettes. Around Queensway is budget hotel after budget hotel, nearly all independent - there are few chain hotels.

The other main cheap budget hotel accommodation areas in London are at Kings Cross, St Pancras and Earls Court, Kensington.

Inside the Comfort Inn Hyde Park you’ll find 29 newly re-furbished guest bedrooms, all with modern en-suites and featuring flat screen LCD televisions, free WiFi, and tea & coffee making facilities. Comfort Inn Hyde Park guests can benefit from the free full English breakfast served every day in the breakfast room.

The Comfort Inn Hyde Park rooms are normally much, much cheaper Sunday through to Thursday nights than at the weekend.

The Comfort Inn Hyde Park as part of the Comfort Inn franchise participates in the Choice Privileges programme where you can earn points to redeem free nights at over 6,000 hotels around the world.

Comfort Inn Hyde Park - Typical Reviews

"Had three nights in london on business, and I did not want to pay a lot. in searching for accommodation, I found this recently updated budget accommodation. It was clean, and updated. Had wifi that did not work, but they fixed me up with a land line connection. Bathroom is clean and worked. Pillows were small but ok, and breakfast was very basic, but worked for the trip. Central to restaurants and underground. "

"Pros: *Good location next to Hyde Park and a few minutes away from two Tube stations. Plenty of puns, shops, restaurants nearby. *Free internet, basic breakfast and satellite tv.

Cons: *Significantly more expensive at weekends *Small rooms *Rooms can be noisy as the walls are quite thin *Rooms with 2 single beds rather than one double don't appear to be available"

"The Comfort Inn Hyde Park is centrally located off Bayswater Road and is less than five minutes walk from both Bayswater and Queensway Underground Stations. I booked a one night stay.

Check In was straightforward and I was warmly greeted, I was in my room within minutes. The room was small and consisted one Double and one Single Bed, tea and coffee making facilities, Freeview Television, AirCon, hairdyer and small open wardrobe containing extra pillows. The bathroom was on the small side with tiny wash basin but the shower was powerful.

The windows were soundproofed but there was a lot of noise from other rooms, also on the downside was the TV that had many channels but due to extremely bad signal only about a handful had a good enough signal to be viewed.

The double bed I used was extremely comfortable and I had a good sleep, I did not get the chance to avail of the breakfast as I had an early start.

All in all a very good budget hotel, although there were a few problems I would stay again. "

"This hotel is small in size - both the number of rooms and guestroom space. But it is in a fantastic location: less than 50 feet away from Bayswater Rd on Queenborough Terrace and within one to two blocks of distance, you will find Queensway and Bayswater tube stations as well as lots of buses on Bayswater Road. It is also about a 10-minute walk to the Paddington station where you would get Heathrow Express or Heathrow Connect to the airport. The immediate neighborhood is full of restaurants, shops, markets, and pubs - very lively at night. Great area with extreme convenience.

Hotel is obviously converted from an old residence like many small hotels throughout London but it has been recently renovated up to today's standard. Guestrooms are small for sure, many rooms are basically your walk-in closet size. I stayed at this hotel twice in my recent trip - the first time I was put in a queen size room with a double bed, which is already a luxury by this hotel's standard but space is still quite limited: just enough for you to walk around and put a luggage. I was given a much smaller room on my 2nd stay where a double bed pretty much takes up the entire space. That said, both rooms are nicely decorated with contemporary touches - LCD tv, tea/coffee facilities, etc. Bathroom is definitely cramped but nicely refurbished otherwise - fairly good size standing shower with a small sink and a new toilet. No problem with the shower pressure or temperature like a few reviews mentioned here. Bed is a bit hard and pillows are too soft for me but otherwise everything is considered pleasant.

Staff is very friendly and try their best to assist hotel guests. Price includes free internet and continental breakfast (cereal, coffee, juice, milk, fruit, toast/croissant, cheese, etc.) which is great as these things are usually expensive in London.

I have stayed in a number of London hotels before and some of them are indeed better than the Comfort Inn Hyde Park but they are all significantly more expensive right now so I am very happy to find this property as an alternative - comfort with a reasonable price tag. I will most definitely consider returning in the future. "

"This small hotel was immacutely clean and modern. Had a refurbishment not so long ago so the bathroom was a welcome change to others we'd had in Europe. Very small rooms but well equipped. Free internet. Good simple breakfast. Helpful cheery staff. Right near Kensington Gardens so very accessible to everything."
