Bayswater is renowned for these cheap Bed and Breakfast hotels. We have a page of other Bayswater Bed and Breakfasts depicting a much wider range of Bed and Breakfast in Bayswater.
These are not homely houses with a couple of rooms rented out by attentive family owners. These are small simple hotels, with none of the frills. Price is the key overwhelming attraction. The cheapest rooms, like at the Leisure Inn are not ensuite, you share the bathroom. Most cheap B&B hotels, again like the Leisure Inn offer a choice of 'basic' rooms or ensuite.
The Leisure Inn like its B&B neighbours in Bayswater is in 5 or 6 storey Victorian terraced houses which when built were grand family homes including room for servants converted to being a hotel.
The Leisure Inn has 48 rooms and no lift. The Leisure inn is midway between Queenway, the main shopping/restaurant strip and Paddington Station with its trains direct to Heathrow. Bayswater is on the northern border of Hyde Park / Kensington Gardens and its a short bus or underground ride to the main sights.

Leisure Inn Bed & Breakfast Bayswater - Typical Reviews
"Good for travelers coming from Heatrow by Heatrow express to Paddington. Short walk or taxi drive. Quiet area. Remember to be out off the room at 11 o'clock or they give you a fine. Short walking distance to a few tube stops: Bayswater, queensway and Paddington. The doors are not soundproof, the toilet badly washed, the carpet looks dirty, small tv with no remote, the water pipes makes a lot of noise during the hole stay, toilet paper roll and towels on top of the toilet(who was not clean!). Breakfast area so small they have to divided it into groups, so we wasn't able to eat. How stands up at 7 for breakfast on a holiday? Not for couples, only for people living cheap . "
" My family and i needed a place to stay in central London for a weekend and we thought this was the best all round deal, we were not disappointed. The location is deffinatley the best feature of the hotel, it is very close to Bayswater/Queensway underground stations and there are bus stops at the top of the road. It is also about 5 minutes walk from Hyde Park which was great for the kids as the weather was nice so we visited the park almost every day!
The rooms were a reasonable size, clean and well furnished. My wife was worried about the reviews we had read, but it seems that others may have had a bad experience as we saw none of the same issues. The staff were really helpful, the receptionist Eda booked a taxi for us to go to the airport as well as selling us tickets for a bus tour during our stay. The price was also a major factor, its a good deal. Next time we stay in London we're coming back :) "
"You are paying really cheap rates for a 2* hotel in (nearly) central london what did you expect? However, I enjoyed my stay, the staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms (although small) clean, fairly modern and very comfortable; we had a to use a toilet down the corridoor but we had our own shower. Really not a problem, especially since it clearly stated that that would be the case when we booked. Me and my friend are mid twenties and were just down for a weekend, the area was nice and quiet but literally 2 mins walk from the tube. I will definitely be going back! "
"Me and my mam were stuck in a double bedroom aka broom cupboard. Had an ensuite shower..more like en suite closet with a shower head stuck in..you couldn't swing a mouse in it let alone a cat!..you could barely swing a cut in the entire rooms proximity!
We were on third floor above stairs..room not really even fit for one person! The decor is SO dated..and that's fine but not for the price the charge...creaky old stairs wake you up everytime someone comes in..shared bathroom was minging..nice warm shower but some blokes must have been on our floor peeing all over the place blurgh!!
Breakfast wasnt too bad..could have had a bit more on..some yogurt and cppachino machine or something would have been great but..its passable..but dont stay here..you can get nicer for the same price...seriously if you do stay make sure you ask for a room not over and above the stairs or you'll be stuck in something probably smaller than your fridge!...no lies!!
