Garden
Squares
A
feature of the Bloomsbury area are the Garden Squares. All of the
squares pictured here have plenty of seating, statues, lawns etc.
Hotel accommodation around them is particularly nice.
Russell Square has a small cafe. Most have very tame grey squirrels
which will delight the kids. Coram's Fields is a larger park by Great
Ormond's Street Hospital with more facilities for kids. |

Around Bloomsbury
Bloomsbury
is a very interesting place just to wander. Getting lost in the narrow
lanes south and southwest of the British Museum will probably uncover
something special of particular appeal just to you.
The area is noted for its bookshops, especially around the Charing
Cross Road. The British Museum is open late evenings. It would take
a lifetime to experience all the coffee shops, pubs and restaurants
in the Bloomsbury area, |
