The Ibis Hotel Euston is in a modern building down a relatively quiet road, yet only a couple of minutes from the station concourse. Behind the hotel is a pleasant park, the other side of which is the Thistle Hotel Euston.

Ibis Euston - Typical Reviews

"checkin was quick and efficient. theres 2 wings at the hotel- i was in a room in the new wing. room- average size, clean, tv, bed not too hard. bathroom- good size with shower. the breakfast buffet was very good- choice of traditional hot food like scrambled eggs, bacon etc, to fruits, cereals, breads etc. the hotel is very close to the euston station concourse- about 1 minute walk. in the concourse theres variety of shops.

The downstairs station is for the victoria and northern lines. just across from the hotel theres marks and spencer and sainsburys supermarkets. the staff were very helpful and enthuastic. 1 small thing- the new wing doesnt have an ironing room, so you have to take your ironing through the public reception area to the other wing. overall its a ok place to stay in london "

"Standard and clean, very good breakfast buffet with a lot of choice. Very convenient since just accross Euston Station with fastfood, M&S food and Sainsbury open till late, 2mns from Underground Euston (Northern and Victoria lines) and Euston Square Station only at 5 minutes by foot. Regent's Park and Marelybone nearby as well as St Pancrace station. A 15 minutes walk can bring you to Goodge street station and nearby Charlotte Street with a lot of restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

Only one drawback : Wifi not included and charged £9,99 per 24 hours which is overpriced. "

"The rooms are compact, but clean and quiet. The bed was extremely comfortable, even compared to other Ibis Hotels we've stayed in, and the extra pillows that came with the room made for fabulous sleeps after busy days in London. Breakfast is terrific, and the staff is friendly and pleasant ... some even recognize us now, which is very nice..

Unfortunately, WiFi and computers are no longer free, but the location and all the amenities more than make up for it. They're even pleasant at 4:30 in the morning, which is when we had to leave after a one-week stay. As long as the rates remain as reasonable as they are, this will remain our hotel of choice in London."

"Stayed at the IBIS London Euston - was expecting the worse as it was a budget hotel. But room adequate, clean and surprisingly quiet. It was located right across the road from Brit Rail & tube station Euston - so handy to all the facilities there.

Marks and Spencers shop - really good for salads and anything you wanted food wise plus there was a supermarket at the station as well - had wine and spirits available for sale. There were takeaway places to a certain time - i think from memory 7.30pm. Apparently there are good curry places around that area as well. At the hotel - best cooked breakfast on my 4 week holiday. Laundry - with coins. "

"Overall, this hotel is reasonably price, very clean with comfortable beds and roomy rooms. I was lucky enough to get one of the rooms with a bathtub, so I gather the bathroom was more roomy than most. Also, it seems that the higher numbers don't face the busy Cardington street, so there was no street noise. The facilities worked well, and I was very impressed with the value for a London hotel in the heart of the business district (near the Wellcome Collection, University College, the BT tower and Oxford Street).

I would have rated this 4-stars if not for the following:

1) Poor internet - As a business traveller, a few amenities have become a necessity during my trips. The most important is internet. I know in Europe I often have to pay for access, and this was no different. Wireless was 10 pounds per day or 15 euros for 10 hours of access over my stay through Orange France. Wired was 10pounds - clearly I chose the wireless access.

The internet was TERRIBLE! Constant need to log in again from different devices, and it was completely UNUSABLE on Friday and Saturday evenings (was ok on Wednesday and Thursday - I was even able to watch Netflix). This made things very difficult for a business traveler.

2) Very thin walls - Better control over loud noises in hall and other rooms. This includes maintenance staff who were very loud at 8pm or around 9-10am - difficult for jetlagged napper.

I think this hotel is bargain compared to some others, is clean and in a very good location. BUT, beware of the internet access and be prepared to spend time in coffee shops if you need to work! "
