Although Earls Court is very much a budget area it is perfectly safe and a pleasant place to walk around and explore. The big landmark is the halls of the Earls Court exhibition centre pictured right.
When London only had one major airport (Heathrow), Earls Court was the first major hotel district travelers came to going into Central London. Today, Earls Court is still very attractive to those arriving at Heathrow with underground trains running every 5 minutes to the airport, the cheapest transfer of them all.
Bed and Breakfast hotels are the cheapest accommodation above hostels.
Be not in doubt, these are not homely houses with a couple of rooms rented out by attentive family owners. These are small simple hotels, with none of the frills.
The Bed and Breakfast hotels are typically 4, 5 or 6 storey Victorian terraced houses. Many will not have lifts. The main attraction is price, somewhere to safely store your luggage and a simple place to sleep overnight while you spend the day exploring London.
Earls Court is a very attractive area for visitors on a budget to stay in. Lots of relatively cheap pubs and restaurants and handy convenience stores as well as the global fast food chains. Earls Court also has two full size supermarkets where you can put together your own picnics.
On this page we use the Earls Court Bed and Breakfast 'Trebovir Hotel' as a benchmark B&B. There are of course many more, a list of the more popular ones are on out Kensington Bed and Breakfast page.

Trebovir B&B - Typical Reviews
" I had a single room with a bathroom. The room was small but very clean. The bed was comfortable. Restroom small, but clean, newly modern and appointed well. The shower door handle was broken though, not really all that important though. My only complaint room wise was that the wireless signal was difficult to receive in the room. I had to go to the cafe down the street to print out my flight reservations.
Complimentary breakfast was good. Desk staff courteous. Air conditioning worked well. I found the key policy a bit strange though. It is in a great location for food and night life. Tourist attractions a short tube ride away. I would certainly stay here again. "
"Amazing location for Earls Court and less than a 2mins walk to the Tube. The rooms are tiny and the 'bathroom' is more like 'airplane toilet with shower', but ultimately totally adequate for getting clean!! The beds were comfy and beds made daily. Air con (not advised, found by accident) made the room much nicer as the windows are locked.
Stayed for four nights and had booked in advance, ask for a roadside view if possible; my husband loved gazing out of the window! "
"In expensive London, this hotel was clean and reasonably priced. It's nice that it's on a quiet street very close to the Underground. I've visited London a half dozen hotel in the last few years and this hotel was by far the best value and in a convenient location. Definitely worth the price "
"All in all it was a good experience. To be honest, the rooms were indeed tiny, especially the bathroom, the breakfast was the worst Ive ever had,but what I loved was the staff-so much fun, well trained and very helpful! I don't think I'd visit again, since it was too expensive for what it has to offer, but the location is perfect, and many congrats to the staff! Free internet was a plus! "
"Family holiday so booked family room which was clean in good condition. The bathroom was small but big enough to shower and clean your teeth in so what more do you need? Nice continental breakfast included and friendly helpful staff made this a really good family holiday location. 150 yards to tube station which means you`re right in the centre of London in less than a quarter of an hour and 15 min walk to Natural History and Science museum. "
"We booked here at the last minute after the Barkston Gardens Hotel cancelled our reservation the day before we were supposed to arrive. The location is excellent....about a 2 minute walk to the Earl's Court Tube stop. Earl's Court is on the Picadilly and District lines. Talking the Picadilly line directly from Heathrow to Earl's Court was extremely convenient and inexpensive.
The room was basic, but clean. It was an extremely small room and small bathroom, even by European standards, but we only needed it for a place to sleep at night. We weren't in the room much other than that so the size didn't matter. There was enough space to put a suitcase down and a separate closet to hang some garments.
We had a first floor room where the window faced the street. We had no problems at all with street noise. Any cars or people we heard didn't bother us.
I was pleasantly surprised that our room at air conditioning. I didn't see that detail when I booked the hotel. Even though the temps were not hot at all during our visit, the room did get stuffy at night. So we used the AC and it made the room much more comfortable. I'd stay here again any time! "
