Typical Reviews Premier Inn Kensington
"I stayed here with my husband and 2 boys for 5 days between Christmas and New Year. Although the room was small, it was well designed and we were able to all sleep comfortably. The breakfasts were great, although the dining room did get very crowded at peak times, with the result that queues were long and we had to wait for glasses and cups.
There was construction going on at the hotel and there was only one lift available up to the 6th floor, however this did not impact too much.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was clean and comfortable. We chose this hotel as we wanted to visit the museums in the area and found it very convenient for those and with the tube station 2 minutes away, for the rest of London as well. "
"My Son and I stayed at the Kensington Premier Inn recently and I must say, the staff has to be the most friendliest I’ve encountered in many years of travel. The Inn is in nice condition, rooms clean, breakfast was just right, and 2 tube stops within a minutes’ walk (and the Natural History and Science Museum).
My only negative comments would be the thin walls where everything is heard next door and the lack of 24 hour free wifi (30 minutes free per day and 3 pounds for 24 hours, not bad considering the price per night). We will definitely stay at this location on our next visit to Kensington, recommend the same to any traveler."
" A very good hotel at an excellent location between Earls Court and Cromwell Road - within walking distance of Kensington High Street and Natural History Museum.
We got a room on the forth floor in the newest building - the one across the road from the reception. A little confusing maze of corridors and lifts to get there - do not send your children up and down here alone - they may get lost. With some practice we did manage to get to our room without taking wrong turns.
The room was tiny but tidy - all you need at very little space. The aircondition was not in use (the display was not showing anyting although trying all the buttons) - so we had to open the window (opens 10 cm). Our room was away from the railway so we did sleep quite good.
The staff was all very friendly, polite and helpful. The restaurant was very good as well - we had dinner here the first night and it was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast was good as well - eat as much as you like for £8.95 - children free of charge. "
Typical Reviews Premier Inn Olympia
"I stayed here for one night - before attending a conference. The hotel was spotlessly clean and staff were very welcoming and friendly.
My room was very quiet and comfortable. There is a small bar and breakfast was really good.
Earls Court tube station is about a 5 minute walk away and there is a huge Tesco close by should you need it. I will definitely stay here again. "
"Stayed one random Monday night late Jan 2012 with husband, a stickler for good quality simplicity. I tend towards the fluff of a top hotel, but we needed location at one hell of a good price and yes oh yes it ticked that box.
Cheerful youngish staff, asking all the right questions but not obtrusive nor sickly. Immaculately clean simple double room with shower room, freeview tv, kettle etc.
Ended up having the meal-deal £22 - 3course dinner plus wine/soft drink/tea/coffee as well as eat as much as you can breakfast. I ate too much; I wrongly assumed the portions would be small. Tasty and nice selection.
Nothing more to say, except that we are possibly going to look for PIs first when we do city breaks from now on."
"Nice clean room with floor space, staff very friendly and went out of their way to make us welcome, spoke to both us and our children on arrival and had a chat to the kids every day to listen to their adventures. Meal packages very good, breakfast choice and quality, fabulous - as much Costa coffee as you can drink! Good value for money. "
