London Paddington Hotels are attractively positioned within a couple of minutes of Hyde Park and all the attractions of Central London. Paddington's hotels are more competitively priced than the hotels just a kilometre or two down the road by Marble Arch and Oxford Street.

Hyde Park is just a few minutes stroll from any of the hotels, and of course Paddington Station is the terminus for the Heathrow Express train, as well as the London terminus for most trains to the west of England and South Wales.
Assuming you are arriving at Paddington Station the Hilton Paddington is the most convenient full service hotel at Paddington. The Hilton Paddington (pictured right) is the original Paddington station hotel and integral part of Paddington Station.
Its sister hotel, the Hilton Metropole is a few hundred metres down the road could not be a bigger contrast, a 1,000+ room mass market chain hotel.

There is a quite a good choice of four star properties around the Paddington station area of all types.
At the 'value' chain end of the scale is the brand new Novotel Paddington, Hilton Metropole and Thistle Hyde Park. Cheapest rooms tend to become available at these at the weekend.
If you are looking for a smaller, boutique style property then look at the Indigo or Commodore Hotels. The Indigo is modern and sleek the Commodore is period with leather sofas and ornate ironwork and traditional values.
If you just want a sold four star as close to Paddington Station as possible but don't fancy the normally expensive Hilton Paddington then look at the two Quality Crown properties.
Room rates at all the full service hotels in Paddington are volatile. A group of 'Shaftesbury' badged hotels have grown up in the last few years buying up failed hotels and re launching and refurbishing them to four star standard. These hotels can have very deep discounts for last minute bookings.
