Public Transport Access To The Regents Park Area From Airports, Rail & Cruise Terminals

London Heathrow Airport Underground Station
Getting To London Regents Park

The Regents Park area sits just north of the central 'West End' shopping and entertainment district. At its southern perimeter is the Marylebone Road, one of London's busiest arteries .

This area, around Baker Street and Marylebone Station is only 10 minutes walk from Oxford Street. Baker Street has very good transport connections, including to the airports. There are lots of hotels north of Baker Street spread out over quite a distance, it is easy to get to all of these from Baker Street.

For most leisure travelers, Heathrow is the only airport where the cost of taxi transfers are worth considering within most people's budgets. The exception to the rule perhaps being if you have a group or lots and lots of luggage. A private charter bus is worth considering for such groups.

A good first task is to identify precisely where your accommodation is in the Regents Park area.

We have a Regents Park area hotel map to help you, but the area is quite large so the mao is not at street detail level.

A good second investment in time is to understand the basic's of using London's public transport. You will waste a lot of money paying single fares for everything and when you are traveling around London you will need to purchase a transport pass of one kind or another. You will save yourself a lot of time and money purchasing the right pass before you get to your hotel.

Public transport passes in London can be complicated, especially if you have children so reading our Travelcard or Oyster Card page will pay dividends for a small investment in your time.
