Hotels near Waterloo Station are not plentiful and not so cheap. Of the hotels near Waterloo station only the expensive 5 star Marriott and the Premier Travel Inn where you normally have to book well in advance is within reasonable walking distance.

The Days Inn Waterloo is perhaps the most popular choice combining reasonable rates with proximity. There is a line of hotels along Southwark Street connecting Waterloo and London Bridge. Frequent buses run along here as well as the Underground.
