Thistle Hotels in Central London are among the most numerous of the chain hotels. The majority are in the very heart of Central London of interest to the leisure visitor, in and around the West End district.
Most are grand old hotels requiring love and attention but there are exceptions to the rule like Thistle Euston. Of the four star hotels, Thistle hotels tend to be among the cheapest with volatile room rates. Cheapest rates are normally to be found at the weekend.

Thistle Hotels have a cluster of hotels at the very centre of London around Trafalgar Square. Indeed, the Thistle Charing Cross can claim to be geographically the most central hotel in all of London.
North and east of Trafalgar Square is the entertainment/theatre district.

South are the government areas of Whitehall and Westminster including Big Ben and the London Eye. West are the royal parks and Buckingham Palace. North west are the main shopping districts.

The Thistle Trafalgar Square and the Thistle Piccadilly are very close neighbours of Thistle Charing Cross. Both are just off Trafalgar Square by Leicester Square famous for its premiere's, right in the heart of the theatre district of London.

The Royal Horseguards Hotel is one of the best regarded Thistle Hotels, just south of Trafalgar Square in a relatively quiet position but just a few minutes walk from the river, Westminster and Trafalgar Square.

The Thistle Charing Cross is a grand old railway terminus hotel, and this is not the only Thistle Hotel serving a mainline railway station.

Like Thistle Charing Cross, Thistle Victoria is an integral part of the railway station. This too is a landmark hotel in a very convenient position - very close to the sights plus direct coach links to all four of London's airports and a rail link to Gatwick.
