Thistle and Guoman hotels in London are among the most numerous of the 4 star chain hotels in London. A few years ago Thistle hotels were split into two brands, the Guoman brand being launched to identify the most luxurious of the hotel portfolio in London.

In recent years a large investment has been made in all of the Thistle hotels upgrading their facilities. A lot of the hotels are grand old hotels requiring a lot of TLC, in the past Thistle were often accused of not investing in the required maintenance needed. The huge investment in the past few years have put this right, some of the properties that could not make the grade have been discarded.
The introduction of the Guoman brand differentiates the 'standard' 4 star hotels of Thistle from the Guoman properties that have a special 'something' about them.
Thistle and Guoman have a choice of hotels in the very heart of the West End, geographically the centre of London around Trafalgar Square. You can walk to most of the West End theatres from these properties, (Royal Trafalgar, Thistle Piccadilly, Guoman Charing Cross and Royal Horseguards hotels).

The Grosvenor Victoria is still very central but also has direct public transport links to all of London's major airports advance as well as the cruise ports of Southampton and Dover.
The Thistle Marble Arch and The Cumberland are almost next door to each other at Marble Arch right on Oxford Street. London's main shopping street is literally on your doorstep.
The Guoman Tower pictured at the top of the page is located on the other side of the road from the Tower of London and next to Tower Bridge with fantastic views of both.
