The Buckingham Palace Road runs down the western side of Victoria Railway Station, the Underground Station for Victoria is underneath the railway station. From here as well as being a major local transport hub there are trains to Gatwick Airport and Dover for the cruise terminal.
Victoria Coach Station is about 800m down Buckingham Palace Road, a large coach station with all the facilities of a small airport. From Victoria Coach Station or just across the road at the Green Line Coach Station there are buses to all of London's major airports Heathrow,Gatwick, Stansted and Luton as well as to the cruise ports of Dover and Southampton. A lot of the day tours from London to places like Windsor, Bath and Stonehenge start from here too.
The Comfort Inn Victoria is mid-way between the rail station and coach station, just yards off the Buckingham Palace Road. the Comfort Inn Victoria Buckingham Palace Road is right up by the coach station, the closest hotel to Victoria Coach Station.
Both Comfort Inns at Victoria are not purpose built modern hotels, but like nearly every other hotel in the Victoria district are in buildings dating back a 100 years or more that have been adapted for hotel use.
Both Comfort Inns in Victoria have a solid reputation, but they don't have a monopoly of mid market hotel accommodation. We have a dedicated page of alternative budget hotels in Victoria.

Comfort Inn Victoria - Typical Reviews
"Stayed here in Jan for a last minute 1 night sightseeing trip. Wasn't expecting the Regent Beverly Wiltshire for the price however was pleasantly surprised. Decent sized room bigger than your run-of-the-mill austrian twin. Double and single beds, plasma tv, tea coffee facils. Help yourself breakfast room downstairs. Staff all friendly and a cracking location just at the back of Victoria station. You could do a lot worse for a budget stop over in the capital. Thanks Comfy! "
"we stayed for one night, both 28.F. decent room rate, clean, comfortable beds, not too hot or cold. working television, free wifi, excellent reception staff. close to all important amenities in local area. slept perfectly even with windows open and with a little train noise! Im already planning my next trip to london and im really happy knowing ive got a safe and clean place to stay. "
"We walked in our room with 1 double bed and 1 twin bed and a baby cot in the room by the desk. There was sufficient room for the 4 of us in that room, typical of other European hotels we have stayed. In the next room, my parents and the 3.5 year old had even more room without the baby cot.
There are no closets but there are shelves, a luggage rack, a rail to hang coats and other items and there was room under the bed for empty bags. The bathrooms were the only problem with the room at all. There is no ventilation or heat so mildew had formed on the grout and caulking around the shower. The shower was clean, but the appearance left something to be desired. However, we never ran out of hot water and I didn't feel uneasy about using it all.
The location is amazing. We were about a block from Victoria Station and near a great fish and chips restaurant. There were also many grocery stores and shopping nearby. There was a pub on the adjacent corner that we never heard any noise from. Even though we were directly by the breakfast room, we didn't have any issues with noise (however, we were up around the time breakfast started so I am not sure if we would have noticed).
Breakfast was ample although not a traditional English breakfast. We had croissants, pastries, boiled eggs, cheese, a fruit cocktail, yogurt, bread and a toaster, coffee, water and juice. There was also a high chair available. We also used the breakfast room to eat dinner one night and the front desk staff provided forks for our fish and chips.
After living in Europe for almost 3 years, we found this hotel typical, if not superior, to other hotels we have stayed. It was clean and accommodating and a great value for the money. We would recommend this hotel to other traveling to London. "
Comfort Inn Victoria Buckingham Palace Road - Typical Reviews
"Reception were extremely helpful and gave us all the information we needed. The room, although on the lower ground floor with no view, was excellent - clean, tidy and comfortable. Bathroom & shower facilities were perfectly satisfactory, though towels were a bit thin!
Because of personal committments we did not have breakfast there, though it was clear from what we saw that we would have been happy to have eaten there.
This hotel is brilliantly placed for easy and local access to both coach, tube and train termini and consequently is an ideal place to pick for a weekend in London. It does not purport to be The Ritz or a 4 star hotel, but the AA has seen fit to designate it with their three crown symbol, which is good enough for me. "
"The hotel has two buildings, I stayed in an attic room in the building accross the main (reception) building. The main building looked less modern than the one in which I stayed.
Positives:
1. Excellent location in central London, at 2 mins from Victoria Coach Station and within 5 mins from Victoria tube station.
2. Staff very kind and helpful, atmosphere at breakfast relaxed, they really made you feel at home. Nice breakfast, simple but delicious.
3. Tea and coffee facilities in room; room very clean, well organized and well equipped, bathroom facilities modern and spotless clean.
4. Free access to internet in the hotel (wifi plus one computer in the lobby).
On the down side:
1. Room was very, very tiny, ok for me as I used it only for sleeping a couple of nights and had only a small travel bag as luggage, so I did not need much storage space.
2. I found the price quite high for the absolutely tiny space I got.
3. I could hear the trains coming and going from the station - so beware if you are not a good sleeper. "
"I staied here for one night during a business trip. The hotel is located a few steps from Victoria station, just across a railtrack bridge. They do have two different buildings, one brand new and the other one quite old. I staied on the new rooms and it was ok, a bit noising the trains (you can see the track from the window), so I do suggest to ask for the rooms not near the railtrack! The price was ok for that location, I paid.
It's not the best hotel but the price and the location are good if you need to stay in downtown. "
