Sights Around Victoria
Victoria is very central, Buckingham Palace is only about 500m north of the station and Westminster less than 1km east of the station.

At Westminster is Westminster Abbey, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. The London Eye is on the other side of the river and Whitehall leads down to Trafalgar Square via Downing Street.

The Tate Britain Art Gallery is behind Victoria by the river at Pimlico.

Victoria Street Scenes
Behind the bustling station and Victoria Street shopping area there is a surprisingly quiet residential/hotel area.
There is very little commercial activity here, just rows of Victorian style 3 and 4 storey buildings, many converted into small hotels. Hard to believe the Queen is a neighbour.

Hugh Street and Warwick Way are two major 'hotel streets' in the area.
