From London's Airports and Railway Stations
Heathrow Airport to City of London
By far the most comfortable transfer from Heathrow to the City of London is to catch the Heathrow Express from Heathrow to Paddington then get the Circle Line Underground.

This is quite expensive though, at a fraction of the cost you can do the trip using the Heathrow Underground link. This option can be very crowded, but many people do it and think of the money they're saving. Journey time is over an hour. You will need to connect at Holborn or Hammersmith depending on destination.

Gatwick Airport to City of London
This is a no brainer. Takethe First Capital Gatwick train direct to London Bridge, Blackfriars or Farringdon. There are several trains an hour - do not be tempted to go with the flow and board the Gatwick Express to Victoria Station.

Stansted Airport to City Of London
The fastest and most comfortable option is to take the Stansted Express train direct to Liverpool Street. There is a bus service which shadows the Stansted Express route to Liverpool Street. The Terravison Stansted bus is cheaper but lakes longer.
A useful bus alternative is the Stansted National Express coach to Stratford. At Stratford there is a choice of underground lines to Liverpool Street, Tower Hill and London Bridge and you avoid some of the traffic the Terravision bus has to contend with.

Luton Airport to City of London
For most people a no brainer, there is a direct train service from Luton to City of London several times an hour. There is no train station at the airport itself so you get a free bus shuttle from in front of the terminal to Luton Parkway.
Much slower, but less expensive is the Green Line Luton Bus. This operates several times an hour from In front of the terminal at Luton to Baker Street, where you can get the underground to the City of London.
