Heathrow
Airport
By
far the most comfortable transfer from Heathrow to Bayswater is to
catch the Heathrow
Express from Heathrow to Paddington, then get a short taxi ride
of about 5 minutes to your hotel. Bayswater is also the next stop
on the Underground from Paddington.
At a fraction of the cost of the Heathrow Express, the London
Underground will deliver you from Heathrow to Bayswater in about
an hour, changing at Earls Court. |
 |
Gatwick
Airport
From
Gatwick to Bayswater the only realistic route to Bayswater is to travel
by train to London Victoria, then get the Underground or a taxi to
Bayswater.
The defacto train from Gatwick to Victoria is the Gatwick
Express, a dedicated airport train. If you are on a budget there
are slightly cheaper commuter trains on the same route or a much slower,
less frequent Gatwick
airport bus to Victoria. |

Stansted
Airport
Choice
is fundamentally between cheap airport buses and the Stansted
Express train from Liverpool Street. Liverpool Street is still
a long transfer from Bayswater. National Express run a very frequent
24 hour bus
to Stansted that picks up at Baker Street, only a mile or so from
Bayswater. The cheapest transfer is to get the Underground to Liverpool
Street or Stratford and get the airport buses run by Terravision
and National Express respectively. |
Luton
Airport
There
is a train service
from Luton Airport to London, but you need to catch a free transfer
bus at the airport to the nearest station 5 minutes away. Get off
at Farringdon then get the Underground to Bayswater.
A cheaper option is the London
Green Line Luton airport bus, running several times an hour from
outside the terminal at Luton to Baker Street, a short underground
or bus (no27) to Bayswater. |
