The Yotel Gatwick has a unique proposition at Gatwick Airport. Stay overnight in a small Japanese style cabin for a relatively cheap price with the convenience of a location within one of the passenger terminals.

Its really the convenience of being in one of the terminals that appeals to most. You can get cheaper 'proper' hotel rooms on the edge of the airport with earlier check-in times and later check-out times. However they all need a tedious bus transfer, (that most of the time are not complementary).

The Yotel is within the South Terminal at Heathrow. The entrance is right opposite where you exit the customs area in the arrivals hall. From the North Terminal at Gatwick there is a shuttle train that runs every couple of minutes free of charge.

There is no denying that Yotel cabins are much smaller than normal hotel rooms, none are larger than 10 sq metres. The rooms do include all the basics, a shower, towels, bed, free-wifi and TV.
