The Renaissance Hotel Heathrow is a large four star, five storey hotel on the northern perimeter road of the airport, (Bath Road) offering car parking packages.

The Renaissance Hotel Heathrow is physically the closest hotel to the central terminals, 2 and 3, though it is not possible to walk.

 

The parking component of the packages is also at the Renaissance Hotel Heathrow although a meet n greet option is also made available where your car is returned to you on your return at the passenger terminal.

The Renaissance Heathrow is particularly suitable for those flying from Terminals 2 and 3. Not only is it physically the closest hotel to these terminals but getting to the hotel is very simple, you just turn off the approach road immediately before the airport tunnel into the centre of the airport and the hotel is at the top of the ramp.

The hotel is situated on the Bath Road, the main airport hotel strip, there are other large hotels like the Renaissance all around it and a choice of pubs, even a McDonald's if you don't want to use the facilities of the hotel.

There are 4 passenger terminals at Heathrow numbered 2, 3, 4 and 5. The hotels at Heathrow are not allowed to run their own airport shuttle vehicles between the airport and the hotels. Your options are:

Heathrow Hoppa - Hotel Shuttle

Hoppa Buses - are regulated by the airport authority and run on fixed routes, each serving 2 or 3 Heathrow airport hotels.

Hotels have one bus for Terminals 2 & 3, another for Terminals 4 & 5.

The Renaissance Hotel Heathrow has no direct shuttle to Terminal 4 on the other side of the airport. You can take a shuttle to Terminal 3 then get a free train over to Terminal 4 that runs every 15 minutes.

Free local buses to passenger terminals

If you have light luggage you can catch a number of public buses from in front of the hotel which are free to airport passenger terminals.

 

Routes 105, 111, 285 or 140 public buses go from the Central Bus Station between Terminals 2 and 3 to a bus stop just after the Park Inn hotel on the left. Ring the bell as soon as you pass the bus stop at the first hotel along, the Holiday Inn on your left. The Renaissance is on the other side of the road.

Bus 423 runs between the Radisson Hotel & Conference Centre London Heathrow and Terminal 5 about every 20-30 minutes and is also free.
