The Travelodge Terminal 5 Heathrow is a new hotel opened in December 2007. It is positioned at the south western tip of Heathrow, and is one of the closest hotels to Terminal 5.


If you are not using Terminal 5, then the Travelodge Heathrow Central hotel is more appropriate. Travelodge Heathrow Central is a newer hotel than the Terminal 5 hotel, opened in December 2008 and has direct connections both shuttle bus and public bus connections to Heathrow's central area where Terminals 1 and 3 are. The central area also has a free train link to Terminal 4.


The Travelodge chain often has 'saver' rates available. These are advance purchase, no refund rates which when available are the lowest room rates at Heathrow Airport.

Directions :

Exit the M25 at junction 14 and take the A3113 sign-posted Poyle/Datchet (Horton Road). After 200m take the right hand turn into Calder Way, at the Poyle 14 sign-post. Take the first right after 50m and follow the road around to the right where you will find the hotel.

Parking and Airport Transfers : :

Parking is at the official long term car park at Heathrow for Terminals 1,3 and 4. This is a 10 minute drive from the Travelodge around the airport perimeter road.

Transfers are complementary operating every 10 minutes and taking approximately 15 minutes. For a transfer to Terminal 5, take the transfer to either T1, and 3 and catch the Heathrow Express train (Free of charge) to Terminal 5.
