modern rooms.
The hotel is on the other side of the aircraft apron from the passenger
terminal, separated by a tunnel which goes underneath a taxiway.

is an airport operated bus service from the bus stop close to the
hotel. For a transfer from the airport, customers should go to the
hotel Courtesy Bus Pick Up Point outside of the terminal building.

There is little in the immediate vicinity, only the Ibis Hotel Luton
opposite. Otherwise the area is just business premises related to
the airport. The nearest shops are at the airport, a 10 minute walk
away.

The
paragraphs describe the walk in the direction from the Express Holiday
Inn hotel to the passenger terminals at Luton.
If you are doing the journey in reverse, come out of the passenger
terminals and walk with the bus stands on your right and the taxi
rank on your left. Cross over the road at the end of the path to the
dropping off point for vehicles and turn right in front of the dropping
off lanes. You will now be at the scene of the bottom picture below,
Cross over to the other side of the road and descend through the tunnel
to the hotels. |

the entrance of the Express Holiday Inn Luton (pictured right) ...
If you have relatively light luggage you can carry, then turn right
and descend steps down the side of the hotel. You will arrive at the
bus stop pictured on the right.
If you have luggage to pull then turn left and take the vehicle exit.
Go left and left again going around the back of the hotel where you
will come across the bus stop pictured right.
You can pick the bus up to the terminal from here if you wish. There
is another bus stop on the other side of the road for the return.
Continue along the pavement towards the tunnel in the distance that
goes beneath the main taxiway for aircraft. The pavement is smooth
and good for pulling suitcases along.
After you go through the tunnel the road rises gently to a roundabout
in front of the passenger terminal complex. When you get to the roundabout
cross the road you have been walking along. On the other side of the
road is the main drop off point for vehicles arriving at the airport.
Conveniently the curbs have slopes to facilitate your journey.
Now the way is obvious, just go past the main taxi rank on your right
and bus terminal on your left and you are at the Luton passenger terminal
doors.
