Airport Transfers :

A public bus run by Arriva, route 321 passes the Stockwood, (see map below) on its way to the airport. There are other buses to the airport from the main bus interchange area by the shopping centre.

The 321 service operates broadly every 30 minutes Monday to Friday during the core day and every 60 minutes at other times and at weekends.

Unfortunately schedules from the airport stop at about 19:00. First schedule to airport is around 06:30, later at weekends. At other times take a taxi the couple of miles to/from the airport or use an alternative bus to the shopping centre.

The Mall Luton

Luton Town Centre :

Luton Town Centre is a large regional shopping centre. The Mall is a shopping mall that nowadays is the anchor for the shopping activity. The train station for Luton is adjacent to the shopping area and all the bus services use the streets around the shopping centre as the local hub.

The shopping area has all the mainstream UK chains, including Debenhams, Boots, TK Max, Marks and Spencers, WH Smith.

The whole area is surrounded by a multitude of restaurants, fast food and pubs that covers all budgets and tastes.

The Galaxy Entertainment Centre

The Galaxy Centre adjacent to the shopping mall and part of the pedestrianised shopping area offers a wide range of entertainment facilities including an 11 screen cinema, The Whitehouse Lloyds No 1 bar and a selection of restaurants, all under one roof.

The Galaxy also hosts a 16 lane ten pin bowling alley and games complex, six full-size American pool tables, over 100 amusement machines.
