The Stansted Manor Hotel, relative to other Stansted Airport Hotels offers modern accommodation, very close to Stansted Airport itself.

The Stansted Manor Hotel was completed in 2003, and is situated on the other side of the motorway from the airport. The hotel is situated in a secluded area and the hotel itself has plenty of parkland style grounds.

Airport Transfers :
There is no courtesy bus to the Stansted Manor Hotel. A taxi will cost around £9.
A local bus company (Arriva) runs a public bus service (route 510) which goes about 800m from the hotel and terminates at Stansted Airport.
Frequencies are every 30 minutes, except Sunday (hourly).

Taxi's are of course available and cost about £9.

Vicinity :
There is little in the immediate vicinity. The area around Stansted is surprisingly undeveloped with mostly open rolling countryside. There are frequent buses between Stansted Airport and Bishops Stortford the nearest town with facilities.
If you have time to kill there are frequent trains from Bishops Stortford and Stansted Airport stations to Cambridge, a major university town.
