Windsor Castle
First of all a friendly welcome from your Guide and Driver and then a short drive to Windsor, home to the royal family for 900 years and official residence of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Your ticket allows entrance to the castle, so you can see for yourself the splendour of St. Georges chapel and the sumptuous state apartments.
Windsor itself is a pretty town full of traditional shops and historic pubs. Shakespeare is said to have written his play The Merry Wives of Windsor in one of them! After the visit to Windsor, drive through Runnymede, where King John signed the Magna Carta.

Going even further back in time through rolling green Wiltshire landscape to Stonehenge, a collection of stones dragged 5,000 years ago to this lonely plain near Salisbury. Who built it? Why?
