Lingfield Servisair Lounge (Gatwick South Terminal) - £17.50

Open: 4 a.m to 10 pm

Food & Drink: From 5.30am to 10am, the lounge serves breakfast, including hot bacon rolls until 9.30am, fruit, yoghurt and pastries. From 2.30pm to 6pm, you can enjoy an afternoon tea, or fresh soup and a bread roll any time after 11am. Tea, coffee and soft drinks are free, as well as wine, spirits and beer, though champagne has an extra charge.

Day Rooms at Gatwick Airport

An alternative to airport lounges are day rooms at the two four star hotels attached to the North and South Terminals. The Hilton Hotel Gatwick is linked to the South Terminal at Gatwick, the Sofitel Gatwick is linked to the North Terminal. (There is a monorail shuttle that operates every couple of minutes between the two terminals and is free of charge to use).

Day rooms are exactly the same as purchasing a room for an overnight stay, the only difference is the check-in and check out times on the room rate. You can make full use of each hotel's extensive facilities or you can just try to get some sleep between flights.

At the Hilton Hotel Gatwick and Sofitel Gatwick the check-in/check-out times are 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.
