Stanstead Hotels have become much more plentiful in recent times. As a result room rates at Stanstead hotels are better value than a few years ago and there is a much wider choice too of Stanstead hotels.

There are two large Stanstead 4 star chain hotels, a couple of Stanstead Travel Lodges and a few independent establishments in the airport zone, as well as traditional Bed and Breakfast accommodation. (see map at foot of page)
Stanstead Hotell - Days Inn Stanstead Popular No Frills Budget Hotels From £49

The most popular choice for budget travellers are the Days Inn Stanstead , De Salis Hotel, Stanstead Guest House and the Express by Holiday Inn Stanstead.

The Days Inn is a brand name Travel Lodge style property just outside the main airport entrance. Express by Holiday Inn includes breakfast, is close to the passenger terminals and has a regular scheduled transfer bus, (chargeable).
The Stanstead Guest House provides a complimentary breakfast and transfers to the Stanstead passenger terminal and is very close to Stanstead's passenger terminal.

There are two Travelodge hotels that could be used for Stanstead. The nearest, the Travelodge Stanstead is really only appropriate for motorists.
Travelodge Harlow, despite its distance from the airport is close to the M11 motorway one junction down from Stanstead. Adjacent to the Travelodge Harlow is Harlow Town train station. Trains from here take just 20 minutes or less, every 30 minutes to Stanstead and going the otherway go into London.

There is a good choice of independent Bed and Breakfast hotels around Stanstead Airport.

Stanstead Guest House offers good value, very close to the airport, breakfast and complementary transfers to and from the airport. Others are smaller and more homely, most in idyllic countryside a far cry from the bustle of the nearby Stanstead Airport.

The Radisson SAS is right next to the passenger terminal, the ultimate in convenience, you walk straight from the passenger terminal into the hotel. The Hilton Hotel at Stanstead is on the airport perimeter and has a scheduled shuttle bus operating to the terminal complex.
