Legoland is situated a couple of miles west of Windsor on the edge of London, and is only a few miles from Heathrow Airport.

Although there are no hotels in Legoland itself or in the very immediate vicinity, partly because of Heathrow there is a lot of choice within about 4-8 miles.

Because of the Heathrow effect, packages can be priced very attractively in the area at the weekend when the businessmen have gone home and there are surplus beds.

The Travelodge Windsor is next door to Windsor Central Station from where the Legoland shuttle bus runs.


By public transport there is a Legoland bus that shuttles during opening hours between Legoland and the two Windsor railway stations and Windsor Castle.

For independent travellers without a car, the Marriott Windsor also offers reasonably simple logistics. The Green Line Bus between London and Bracknell via Legoland Windsor stops in front of the hotel
