Facilities and Terminals

A single terminal serves all flights making it relatively straightforward to navigate. The airport terminal building boasts a variety of amenities, including shopping, dining, lounges, currency exchange kiosks, and is completely accessible for disabled travellers whilst providing facilities and services for those requiring assistance if required.

All arrivals and departures take place in a single terminal building, simplifying check-in, security, and the boarding process.

The airport’s expansion plan, approved in 2025, is set to double the number of passengers by upgrading the existing terminal 1 and introducing a state-of-the-art terminal 2, as well as enhancing transport links for passengers.

Luton Airport Lounges

Airport lounges are a great way to get away from the crowds and make the most of your time at the airport – be it relaxing or working.

Accessing one of the lounges allows you to enjoy 3 hours prior to your flight’s departure in the lounge area. You can indulge in a variety of complimentary beverages, snacks, and reading materials, along with unlimited Wi-Fi, and most lounges will feature a television.

Off-airport parking

Airparks stand out as the primary off-airport parking option, effectively competing with the official car parks, except for the meet and greet providers. Their appeal lies in the lower prices for parking. Shuttles services run every 20 minutes to the airport terminal.

Additionally, Airparks offer an alternative car park to the main Airparks Car Park, ‘Airparks Short Run’ much closer to the airport with the transfer taking only taking 5 minutes.

Valet or Meet ‘n’ Greet parking

A hassle-free and convenient choice, simply leave your car at the terminal forecourt and it will be returned to you when you arrive back. Provided by Swift, Drivefly and Priority Parking. Your vehicle is stored in a secure compound off-airport while you are away.

Recently, Meet ‘n’ Greet airport car parking has received negative attention due to reports of unscrupulous operators in the media. Therefore, it’s crucial to choose a reputable company that has a solid reputation and a secure facility for parking your vehicle.

Pre-book your parking

Not only will you guarantee yourself a space but you will save money whilst doing so.

Whether you’re looking for a Park and Ride car park or a good deal on Meet ‘n’ Greet parking, there’s plenty of choice – and what’s more, we’re never beaten on price.
