Two tours, one visiting Salisbury, Stonehenge and Windsor Castle the other Bath & Cotswolds
Southampton to London Tours
A choice of two full day tours from your cruise ship in Southampton to your hotel at Heathrow or Central London or indeed any passenger terminal at Heathrow Airport.
You'll be driven in an air conditioned touring bus with guide and time to fully visit Stonehenge and Windsor Castle or take the second tour that visits Bath and the Cotswolds scenic region of England with a pub lunch.
There is Meet n Greet at Southampton Cruise Terminal and you'll be driven in an air conditioned touring bus with enough luggage capacity for cruise passengers. We do not drop you off in the middle of nowhere, you are dropped at your hotel entrance or the Heathrow Airport passenger terminal departures hall of your choosing.
On the same dates the tours run we also run direct van shuttle services to Heathrow Airport and Central London hotels, and we also operate services in the other direction too.
Cruise Ships Supported in 2018
This service is available on all dates when Royal Caribbean, Oceania, NCL, Celebrity, Princess & Azamara Quest cruise ships are visiting Southampton between the end of April and beginning of November.
If you are travelling on another cruise line that is in port the same day as one of the above you can still use the cruise bus service but you will need to disembark and take a local taxi to another cruise terminal where a supported ship is docked.

Logistics Of Cruise Ship Disembarkation at Southampton
Nearly every cruise ship docks between around 4am to 6.30am with assisted disembarkation starting around 7am
The customer services desk on-board will normally give you a disembarkation slot of around 7.30am to 7.45am if you say your bus leaves at 8.15am. Our cruise bus is scheduled to leave Heathrow by around 8.30am.
Central London Hotel Drops
On reservation you will need to select from a list of around 200 popular hotels as your drop point in Central London plus some major train stations and Victoria Coach Station. If you have not reserved your hotel yet you can always advise after making a reservation.
Nearly every popular chain hotel in Central London is on this list, (see link) and they cover all the main hotel districts so if your hotel is not on the list undoubtedly there will be a drop hotel very close by.
Heathrow Airport Hotel & Passenger Terminal Drops
The cruise bus service will drop at all passenger terminals at Heathrow plus most (but not all) of the Heathrow Airport hotels. Nearly every popular chain hotel in Central London is on this list, (see link).
Drops at other locations (Railway Stations / AirBnB / Coach Stations)
If you are not staying at a hotel, perhaps taking a train, staying in an AirBnB property or flying from Gatwick, Luton airports for example use our question and answers facility to work out a solution for your needs so you know exactly how you are going to get to your end destination before you travel.
The luggage allowance is 2 large cases per passenger (maximum 23kgs per case) plus 2 pieces of hand luggage (max 10kg per case). If you have more than this you must contact our office prior to travel.
We do not carry outsize items (eg bicycles) and you MUST inform us in advance if you have a wheelchair, mobility vehicle etc.
We are very interested in your anticipated luggage not from a perspective of hitting you with supplemental excess luggage charges but from the perspective of avoiding not having enough capacity in the luggage hold.
The cap on the number of passengers we book on a bus is driven by a simple equation assuming each passenger will be bringing no more than two large cases.
Booking Conditions and Payment
In order that we can guarantee your booking, you will need to make payment in full at time of reservation.
All cruise transfer/tours are booked are not subject to cancellation charges up to 42 days (6 weeks) prior to the the transfer/tour travel date.
If you are travelling with friends but have separate reservations please advise us to avoid the chance you may be allocated separate vehicles.
Salisbury, Stonehenge and Windsor Castle tour notes
(Runs until early November)
This tour is a rewarding day of sightseeing seeing three very different attractions. You are accompanied throughout by a professional tour guide.
Only 30 minutes drive from the cruise terminals at Southampton, Salisbury is a new city (for England), only started in the 13th Century when the Cathedral was built. About the same time as the Magna Carta was being signed, a copy of which is on view in the Chapter House of the Cathedral.
The Cathedral is one of the best Cathedrals in England and has the tallest spire of them all. One of the mind blowing aspects of the Cathedral is that its foundations are only 3-4 feet deep, so don't jump up and down!
Note: Sundays there will be services in the Cathedral and we are unable to guarantee entry.
It is only a 30 minute journey to Stonehenge from Salisbury so you can get a glimpse of some of the best of the English countryside.
We will spend around 100 minutes at Stonehenge, time enough to take in this world famous monument from 4000-5000 years ago.
The tour manager will give an introduction to this amazing site, and you will then have the option to enter which includes an audio guide explaining the many myths, theories and legends behind this prehistoric monument.
With admission at Stonehenge you get a complementary audio guide in a choice of languages.
Important! - Advanced ticketing for Stonehenge
Advance booking is required for visits to Stonehenge, as entrance is managed through timed tickets. If you do not pre-book your entry ticket with the tour we cannot guarantee you will gain entry on the day.
It is around a 75 minute journey to Windsor, mostly along fast motorway/freeway to Windsor. We pass Royal Ascot race course and travel through Windsor Great Park arriving early afternoon.
Windsor Castle is one of three official residences of The Queen and has been home to the Sovereign for over 900 years.
The Castle is the largest inhabited castle in the world and the oldest in continuous occupation. The imposing towers and battlements of the Castle loom large from every approach to the town, creating one of the world's most spectacular skylines.
Bath & Cotswolds tour notes
(Runs until end of September)
A wonderful combination greets you on this tour as we blend the refined elegance of the city of Bath with the natural charm of the Cotswold Hills and its delightful villages.
The Roman Baths at Bath
Lunch: at Lacock George Inn
On arrival there will be a guided walk followed by optional entry to The Roman Bath.
Around Britain's only hot spring, the Romans built a magnificent temple and bathing complex that still flows with natural hot water.
At the Roman Baths museum you will see the water's source and walk where Romans walked on the ancient stone pavements and of course see the baths themselves. An audio guide with excellent commentary, to help you understand the history, is provided as part of admission.
The city was beautifully re-invented in the 18th century when it became the fashionable place to see and be seen. Elegant crescents, squares and terraces were built as the rich and famous travelled from London for "the season" to relieve themselves of rheumatic diseases, stiffness of the joints and gout.
Georgian Bath is the core of this elegant city today, including the famous Royal Crescent, Royal Circus and the Assembly Rooms - the world of Jane Austen novels. Jane Austen lived in Bath for part of her life and a couple of her most famous titles are set here, there is also a Jane Austen Centre celebrating her life and work.
Bath is a regional shopping centre and hub with more than enough to see and do in a few days, so use your time wisely here.
Cotswolds, Lacock & Pub Lunch
We depart for The Cotswolds and pass through some delightful hamlets and villages with a lunch break in Lacock.
We step back in time to a place that has hardly changed in 400 years.
Now owned by the National Trust, Lacock is so perfectly preserved that it is no stranger to film and TV productions. Harry Potter, Downton Abbey, Cranford, Pride and Prejudice have all had scenes filmed here.
You will be given an eye-opening guided walk of the village, including it's ancient Tithe Barn and lock-up after a delicious homemade lunch at the ancient George Inn. This iconic pub is famous for its medieval open fire place with a dog wheel.
