At the lower end, budget are the Hilton Kensington, Hilton Olympia, Hilton Islington and Hilton Metropole. Tour groups, aircrew, etc., extensively use these and can find very low promotional prices on slower dates. These are a little inconvenient compared with the more central Hilton hotels. However, a 15-minute bus or underground trip will get you around in central London.
