Kings Cross and St Pancras have gone through a major regeneration over recent years. St Pancras is now home to the Eurostar and Kings Cross is home to Harry Potter's famous platform 9 ¾, giving rail visitors their first taste of London. The canal area has also been redeveloped. The other attraction is platform 9 ¾ in Kings Cross station from the Harry Potter films. Here you can take a photo of the entrance to the platform, something a steady stream of visitors does daily. You will have to queue up at busy times but can take your own photo for free. When the Harry Potter shop next door is open there will be a professional photographer on hand to take your picture for a fee and you can even purchase a cue jump ticket should you be in a rush.
