The Holiday Inn Hotel Luton Airport was opened in 2012 as a Ramada Hotel and then switched to the Holiday Inn brand in 2015.

Holiday Inn Hotel Luton Airport is sited adjacent to the Ibis Luton Airport and the Holiday Inn Express Luton Airport the closest hotels to the Luton passenger terminal.

All three hotels are clustered together. It is an easy 10 minute walk between the passenger terminal and all three hotels.

Car Parking is at the leading off airport car park, Airparks that is close to the M1 motorway.

You park your car at the Airparks car park then use the car park shuttle to transport you to the Holiday Inn Express Luton, where it stops outside before going onto the passenger terminal.

 

Many people will drop their passengers and luggage off at the Holiday Inn Express Luton before the driver goes to the Airparks facility.

 

The hotel itself on the other side of the aircraft apron from the passenger terminal at Luton Airport, separated by a tunnel which goes underneath a taxiway.

Car parking & transfers between Holiday Inn Hotel Luton and airport

You'll need to drive to Airparks first and drop your car off.

The Airparks shuttle bus, which runs to the terminal, will then drop you off at the bus stop next to the Holiday Inn Express Luton about a 100 yards from the Holiday Inn Hotel Luton.

Many people will of course drop their passengers and luggage off at the Holiday Inn Hotel Luton before the driver goes to the Airparks facility.

The walk (uncovered) between the Luton Airport Terminal and the Holiday Inn Hotel Luton Airport is very straight forward, (see detailed description below).

Even with luggage it should take no more than 10 minutes and the pavement is fairly smooth and what kerbs there are to be negotiated have slopes, so it is pretty compatible with suitcases on wheels.

When you're ready to fly, the Arriva public bus runs every 20 minutes Monday-Saturday between 6am and 7pm and was last advised as costing £1.30 per person each way. Buses run every 40 minutes on Sundays. Otherwise, the hotel is only a 10-minute walk from the terminal.

On your return you just catch the complementary Airparks shuttle bus back to the car park from outside the terminal.
