The Holiday Inn Express Stansted was opened in January 2005 and is one of the closest hotels to the passenger terminal at Stansted, bar the Radisson Blu Hotel Stansted and Hampton by Hilton Stansted both located adjacent to the passenger terminal at Stansted.

However, both of these hotels come at a significant price premium to the Holiday Inn Express Stansted Airport.

Unlike most other hotels on the airport, the Holiday Inn Express Stansted includes breakfast in the room rate.

Although it is one of the closest hotels to the Stansted terminals you still need a vehicle to make the transfer.

 

The Holiday Inn Express Stansted runs its own shuttle bus to the terminals and provides free wi-fi.

Although the Holiday Inn Express Stansted is quite isolated (like most hotels at Stansted) there is a McDonald's opposite the hotel and a BP petrol station with a 'Wild Bean Cafe'.
