The Ibis Hotel Luton Airport is one of just two hotels on the airport itself. It is situated directly opposite the other such hotel, the Express by Holiday Inn Luton Airport, the only other hotel close to the airport.

Both hotels have significantly lower room rates at the weekend than midweek.

The Ibis hotel Luton Airport is on the other side of the aircraft apron from the passenger terminal, separated by a tunnel which goes underneath a taxiway. It is easily walkable and there is also a public bus that will carry you the one stop to the passenger terminals at Luton Airport.

Airport Transfers :
Transfers operate to and from the airport from 0500-2300hrs. Transfer service is an airport operated bus service from the bus stop close to the hotel. For a transfer from the airport, customers should go to the hotel Courtesy Bus Pick Up Point.
The walking distance (600m) of terminals is doable, though the route is not covered the pavement is smooth and you should have little problems 'rolling' luggage..

Facilities in each room
En-suite bathroom, satellite colour TV, a telephone, a radio and tea and coffee making facilities. Hairdryers and irons are available at reception.

Public Facilities
The Cafe Saint Martin restaurant is open from 06:30 to 22:00 and serves a wide selection of food. There is also a bar. Room service is not available.

Vicinity :
There is little in the immediate vicinity, only the Express Holiday Inn Luton opposite. Otherwise the area is just business premises related to the airport. The nearest shops are at the airport, a 10 minute walk away.
Frequent local buses between the passenger terminal and the town centre stop in front of the Express Holiday Inn.

Walking Between The Ibis Luton & Luton Airport Terminals (Around 600m)
The paragraphs describe the walk in the direction from the Ibis hotel to the passenger terminals at Luton.
If you are doing the journey in advance, come out of the passenger terminals and walk with the bus stands on your right and the taxi rank on your left. Cross over the road at the end of the path to the dropping off point for vehicles and turn right in front of the dropping off lanes. You will now be at the scene of the bottom picture below, Cross over to the other side of the road and descend through the tunnel to the hotels.
From the front of the Ibis hotel Luton walk up to the neighbouring Express Holiday Inn Luton (pictured right). Cross the road and walk around the right hand side of the hotel onto the airport approach road.

This is the trickiest part of the walk, (there is a short hill and you have to cross a road). If you've made it this far, the rest of the route is flat and luggage trolley friendly.

Once you pass by the Holiday Inn, there is a bus stop, (pictured right).You can pick the bus to the terminal from here if you wish. There is another bus stop on the other side of the road for the return.

Continue along the pavement towards the tunnel in the distance that goes beneath the main taxiway for aircraft. The pavement is smooth and good for pulling suitcases along.

After you go through the tunnel the road rises gently to a roundabout in front of the passenger terminal complex. When you get to the roundabout cross the road you have been walking along. On the other side of the road is the main drop off point for vehicles arriving at the airport. Conveniently the curbs have slopes to facilitate your journey.
Now the way is obvious, just go past the main taxi rank on your right and bus terminal on your left and you are at the Luton passenger terminal doors.
