many people experiencing Stonehenge is a 'must see' of any first trip
to England.
For the 'average' visitor it will take will take 45 minutes to visit
Stonehenge, plus some time to visit the gift shop and take in the
Stonehenge environment.
An audio tour is part of the admission price. This is available in
many languages. You simply key in the number as you circle Stonehenge
and a full commentary is given. |

Driver
/ Guide Option
The default option is that we treat the trip as
a normal transfer, the driver will be a 'normal' driver. Friendly,
but not an expert on Stonehenge or the Neolithics. For most people
this is not an issue as you get an audio tour as part of admission
to Stonehenge.
We can supplier a driver/guide at a small supplement.
The guide will provide full in-depth briefing about the Neolithic
society and how Stonehenge fits in with other Neolithic monuments
you will see at Stonehenge. The driver/guide will accompany you into
Stonehenge and provide additional guiding.
Route
The route between London, Stonehenge and Southampton is along
major roads through rolling countryside.
If you select the driver/guide option a more scenic route can be taken.
Salisbury is half way between Southampton and Stonehenge using the
scenic route. You can stop at a pub or visit Salisbury Cathedral or
Old Sarum.
