easyHotel is a budget hotel chain offering some of the cheapest hotels in central London. The main selling point of easyHotel London is very cheap hotel rooms in very good locations. Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, a British entrepreneur of Greek origin and easyJet fame is behind easyHotel.
The bright orange colour scheme is the same as the low cost budget airline, easyJet, which Stelios set up and is now one of the two big low cost airlines in Europe. However, easyJet and easyHotel are separate companies.
The cheap room rates offered by easyHotel are achieved by cutting out all the so-called frills that you take for granted in other hotels and as a result this keeps the staff costs down to a minimum.
easyHotel overview
easyHotel bedrooms are sold on the basis of the earlier you book, the less you pay. Periods of high demand cost more than less popular periods. Prices will generally increase as you get closer to your date of stay.
easyHotels and their receptions are staffed 24-hrs a day, 7 days a week. All rooms are air-conditioned and fully heated with en-suite bathroom and shower. Bed linen and towels are included in your booking. Check-in is from 3pm. An early check-in can be purchased at some hotels. Customers need to check-out by 10am on the departure date. Some easyHotels do offer a late check-out up until midday.
The cheapest rooms on offer have no external window and are small. The easyHotel model is room only, they do not offer breakfast as there is no restaurant. Some hotels offer a breakfast box at an extra cost. However, in central London all easyHotels are surrounded by a multitude of breakfast and dining options.
Do not expect public areas and lounges, fitness rooms or concierge-type facilities. Access to the television and remote control is normally an extra that you can pay for when making a reservation.
