The distance between Gatwick and Heathrow is around 45 miles. The airports are linked by two motorways. In normal traffic conditions a motor vehicle will take around 45-50 minutes to complete the journey.

However, the motorways used are some of the busiest and most congested in the UK. Between 06:30 and 10:00 and 16:00 and 19:00 during weekdays there is a strong likelihood of further delays through traffic congestion.

If you have a long time between flights its perfectly feasible to do some serious sightseeing. We offer a customised transfer tour service for all sized parties from couples to large tour groups. The economics really become compelling if you have a group of around eight or more.

Most popular option by far is to stay in Windsor, just 15 minutes from Heathrow. We offer a flat fee supplement for you to stay in Windsor as long as you like leaving the luggage in the vehicle. Tour transfers via Central London are also popular.

Small Bus - 8, 12 or 16 Passenger Capacity Buses

Air conditioned small buses with a luggage hold that can take 16 large cases plus hand luggage. Luggage trailers available if needed.

We can even accommodate outsize luggage. Electric wheelchairs, mobility scooters, surfboards and bicycles are some of the common requests we get each year.


These are private transfers, you do not share the bus with anybody else.

If you have a late flight out of Heathrow and have to check out of your hotel by late morning then you have time to kill. Similarly, if you are in transit between flights with a long gap in between, killing time at the airport is something most people dread the thought off.


A much more attractive proposition is to spend your time in the attractive town of Windsor, just a few miles from Heathrow Airport. Windsor Castle pictured right is what it is famous for but there is much much more to Windsor and Eton than the castle.
