Day Rooms at Heathrow Airport
An alternative to airport lounges are day rooms where by the hotels at Heathrow will let a normal bedroom out during the day time. The times are normally between 8 or 9 a.m. and 5 and 6 p.m.
Unfortunately at Heathrow there are only two hotels, one at Terminal 4, one at Terminal 5 that you can walk to from the passenger terminals. The other hotels require you to get a Hotel Hoppa shuttle bus from passenger terminal.
Unlike lounges all day room hotels require you to pass through UK customs.
