Day rooms at London Heathrow Airport are routinely available at several of the hotels at Heathrow, serving all passenger terminals (which are numbered 2, 3, 4 and 5).

There are only two hotels at Heathrow attached to Terminals 4 and 5 that you can walk to from a passenger terminal that offer day rooms.

Most mainstream Heathrow hotels have frequent Heathrow Hoppa buses to connect them with the various passenger terminals at Heathrow.

In October 2019 the Aerotel T3 London Heathrow opened its doors, this hotel is located in terminal 3 and offers hourly room rates. Ideal for those wishing to freshen up before or after a long flight, or who have flights at unsocial hours.

There is no hotel room accommodation air side, you have to come through customs to access hotel day rooms. However, one of the airport lounges now offers an airside option at Terminal 3 (see lounge link below).

For shorter stopovers you may also want to consider airport lounges which unlike the hotels do not require passing through custom checks.
