When looking for overnight breaks to visit Legoland Windsor, you have a few different choices, depending on your interests and budget. LEGOLAND Windsor Resort now has three on-site hotel accommodation options: the brand new (in 2024) Woodland Village, the classic original LEGOLAND Windsor Resort Hotel and the Legoland Castle Hotel.
For convenience and comfort with the added attraction of themed areas and activities for the kids, you can't beat staying at one of the Resort hotels.
Themed rooms and evening entertainment complete the deal, with the advantage for the adults of it all being on one site, including restaurants, so food is taken care of too.

LEGOLAND Windsor Resort Hotel
Legoland Resort Hotel is the most expensive option for overnight stays for the attraction. As a guide you might pay up as much as twice the price of staying in a nearby hotel at peak season; but the 'magic' of the themed stay makes it an attractive option for many.
Pricing at Legoland Windsor Resort Hotel
Note, in the early autumn and Christmas season when the park opens for a few weekends, the price gap narrows so that at certain times the resort hotels are only very marginally more expensive than nearby options - and a lot more convenient. For up to date prices see the Legoland website.
Complete break: Tickets for Legoland Windsor combined with Legoland hotel
You can purchase a complete break including your Lego themed accommodation and entrance to Legoland itself, which will entitle you to receive special privileges by doing so. On occasions throughout the year Legoland stays open late purely for guests at the hotel, for example for fireworks night, or Christmas. Residents can also enter at this time thirty minutes early with entry on selected rides!
Themed rooms at Legoland Resort Hotel
The Legoland Resort Hotel is geared up for families visiting Legoland with themed rooms, such as 'Pirate', 'Adventure' 'Kingdom' and 'Lego Friends', similar in a way to Disneyland hotels. All rooms have an en-suite bathroom with a shower, a telephone, hairdryer, Wi-Fi access, TV(s) with a dedicated LEGO® TV Channel, tea and coffee making facilities and Lego bricks for your children (and you!) to play with.
There are separate children's sleeping areas in nearly all rooms, sleeping up to three children. As a hotel resident, you will also receive free parking.
Leisure facilities and entertainment at Legoland Hotel Windsor
There is a swimming pool and a pirate-themed indoor water play area complete with slides and 'blast-em' water guns. There is also an adults-only gym. As well as the themed rooms, there are also play areas and nightly entertainment.

At the Hotel shop you can browse a range of the top Lego themes and Legoland souvenirs.
Check in/check out times
The earliest check in time is 3pm and the latest check out time 10am. Guests can arrive and leave luggage with Concierge from 9.30am. An access card will be given to gain access to the hotel and its facilities.
LEGOLAND Bricks Family Restaurant and Skyline Bar/ Lounge, at LEGOLAND Resort Hotel Windsor
The Legoland Windsor Resort Hotel is a fully child friendly dining experience, complete with Lego models of waiters and colourful Lego decor.
If you have a Merlin pass, you can also get 20% off your bill.
Food is very much family friendly, with themed food such as 'Lego Brick chips', a hit with the kids.
Buffet food is available for one set price throughout the day, and unlimited so you can go up again and again. There is also the Skyline bar/ lounge, serving drinks and snacks throughout the day, right up to 11.30pm. A children's menu is also available here.
The LEGOLAND Castle Hotel
Legoland Castle Hotel is the newest of the two hotels and feature wizard and knight themed decor. It is conveniently located on the edge of the theme park, not far from the Resort Hotel.
The Castle Hotel has its own dedicated reception area, and also overlooks the lake.
Facilities include an indoor pool, parking and a traditional style knights' castle restaurant, called Tournament Tavern. The hotel markets itself as a higher-end hotel, and as such the quality of the food in the restaurant reflects this. Expect to pay more for staying at the Castle Hotel.

Another option besides the resort hotels is to book a nearby hotel, many of which are partnered through Legoland, offering deals such as second day free. These hotels are in the main very family friendly, offering children's menus, and in some cases even children's play areas.

Travelodge Windsor Central 
Consistently the cheapest rooms in Windsor especially if you can get advance purchase saver rates. An A1 position every bit as good as the most expensive hotels in Windsor with Windsor Castle two minutes' walk. The hotel is situated in a complex in which there is Windsor's main shopping area as well as Windsor Central Station.

The Winning Post 
Set in the village of Winkfield in Berkshire, The Winning Post is under 4 miles from LEGOLAND Windsor. This premium village inn serves locally sourced produce on its modern British menu and a selection of ales, fine wines, and seasonal cocktails in the bar. The 18th-century pub has wonderful original features and relaxed garden terraces.

The Christopher Hotel 
Dating back to 1711, this boutique style hotel and former coaching inn is Eton’s only hotel. Just a 10-min walk across Eton Bridge and you are at Windsor Castle and railway stations.
