Windsor Castle tours combined with Stonehenge and Bath

Day tours from London visiting Windsor Castle and other famous attractions in combination

Windsor Castle

Windsor Castle is just on the outskirts of London, and can be reached within an hour by bus or just half an hour by train.

As Windsor can be looked round in half a day, many people choose to combine a trip to Windsor with other destinations, for a full day trip.

Stonehenge is a World Heritage Site and a popular destination for many, for its archaeological, historical and spiritual importance, and is two hours from London.

Below are three of the most popular tours combining Windsor and Stonehenge with your choice of another World Heritage Site - Bath - or Salisbury Cathedral (Magna Carta) or the literary home that is Oxford.

All but the International Friends small group tours have the visit to Stonehenge after Windsor Castle, arriving around lunch time or late afternoon depending on season.

The International Tours Small Group tour has Stonehenge as the first stop and is normally the first tour bus to arrive at Stonehenge from London each morning.

Windsor is the last stop of the day.

The standard full size bus tours typically use around a 50 seat touring coach to operate their tours.

It is a long day whatever Windsor, Stonehenge and Bath tour you travel on and there is little time to linger.

The standard large bus tour as well as visiting Windsor, Bath & Stonehenge tour makes an additional lunch stop at Lacock.

This routing offers some very nice English countryside and time in an extremely hospitable village off the beaten tourist track with lunch in a 14th century historic village pub.
