Tour Itinerary:
Many tours pass through the Cotswolds and give a tantalising glimpse of the Cotswolds, this tour gives the Cotswolds centre stage just drifting to the edge of the Cotswolds at the end to enjoy Shakespeare's Stratford Upon Avon for a short break before returning to London.
The tour spends time in three Cotswold villages, all very different, Burford, Bibury and Bourton on the Water and we pass through many more.
We find the time for a 2 course lunch included in the price of the tour at one of the villages visited. At the end of the day we exit the Cotswolds through Stratford Upon Avon, famous for where Shakespeare was born and died. We take a break here prior to the drive back to London enjoying a walking tour of the interesting town commemorating Shakespeare.
Courtesy transfer from your hotel
There is a free hotel collection from over 170 hotels in central London - more than any other sightseeing company in London. Separate coaches each cover a main Central London hotel district and transport you to Victoria Coach Station where you join the tour bus for your day tour. Full details of the hotel pick-up service are further down the page.
If you wish you can join the tour at Victoria Coach Station, which is about 600 yards from Victoria Underground and Train Station.

Bourton on the Water |
A professional guide is aboard the luxury air-conditioned touring bus the entire day and will provide commentary and guiding throughout. its a 2 hour journey to our first stop, Burford, our gateway town into the Cotswold region.
The Cotswolds represents an area that is forever England, remaining seemingly unchanged with the passing of time. Rolling landscapes, dry stone walls, perpendicular churches and sparkling clear streams fuse with tiny villages and hamlets with their charming limestone houses, tea shops and inns.
At Burford, we park off the magnificent High Street, which slopes down to the River Windrush holding every variety of Cotswold stone. There will be time to visit the small tea houses before heading south onto Bibury.
Bibury & Lunch
Bibury was described as the prettiest village in Britain by William Morris.
After a short walking tour, lunch beckons and what better way to satisfy your hunger than with a fabulous two course lunch in the Swan hotel, situated in the centre of Bibury, overlooking the River Coln. The 17th century former coaching Inn serves a fabulous range of traditional cooking, ales and fine wines. On rare occasions an alternative may be used if the Swan cannot be used.
Bourton on the Water & Stratford Upon Avon
Its now around 1 p.m. when we leave Bibury and head northwards.
The afternoon is spent exploring Bourton-on-the-water, another delightful village in the Cotswolds that is forever England. We then head to Stratford-Upon-Avon for a short walking tour of the town Shakespeare was born and died in.
We leave Stratford for the trip back to London, a journey of over 2 hours. The estimated time of arrival back in London is around 6:30 p.m.
Morning Hotel Pick Ups
Like all day tours, time is the enemy and all tours leave early in the morning.
London is a spread out place and one bus would take all morning to go around each hotel individually. Instead separate coaches each cover their own part of London and take you to Victoria Coach Station where you switch to the your tour bus for the day.
