The Cotswolds From London
A Wide Range Of Tours From London Daily

Typical Cotswold Houses |
The Cotswolds is a scenic area containing some of England's best countryside and it is one of the few such areas within easy driving distance of London for a day tour. A tour coach will take about 2 hours to get into the Cotswolds from London.
The lure of the Cotswolds is the English countryside and villages that you see in all the tourist promotional literature. Sleepy villages made of the local limestone with thatched or slate roofs. A pub, maybe a murmuring stream running through and a backdrop of greenery. What is more, this picture is not an out of context place put on especially for tourists, but real, living villages, covering a very wide area.
A typical Cotswold day tour from London will stop at two or three of such villages, all very different and somewhere during the day find time for a cream tea or lunch. Most will also stop at somewhere else of interest on the periphery of the Cotswolds region, Oxford, the university city and Stratford On Avon for all things Shakespeare are the most popular such stops.
In Depth Tour of Cotswolds & Stratford Tour
Many tours pass through the Cotswolds and give a tantalising glimpse of the Cotswolds, this tour gives the Cotswolds centre stage just drifting to the edge of the Cotswolds at the end to enjoy Shakespeare's Stratford Upon Avon for a short break before returning to London.
The tour spends time in three Cotswold villages, all very different, Burford, Bibury and Bourton on the Water and we pass through many more.
We find the time for a 2 course lunch included in the price of the tour at one of the villages visited. At the end of the day we exit the Cotswolds through Stratford Upon Avon, famous for where Shakespeare was born and died. We take a break here prior to the drive back to London enjoying a walking tour of the interesting town commemorating Shakespeare.

Small Group Oxford, Cotswolds and Stratford Tour
Stratford lies on the edge of the Cotswold region, one of England's most scenic and unspoilt landscapes. The small group format is especially appropriate for a tour that discovers the Cotswolds as it enables the bus to go down the lanes and backroads that the big tour bus crowds cannot. Couple that with a knowledgeable guide who knows all the hidden gems this is an excellent option.
A visit to the cotswold villages of Burford, Stow-on-the-Wold and to the charming twins of Upper and Lower Slaughter in the Cotswolds are part of the tour.
A visit to Stratford is the last stop of the day before returning to London.

The Palace is still inhabited today by the Duke of Marlborough. The Gardens are set in over 754 hectares of land with an exquisite water garden.
After visiting the Blenhein, the rest of the day is spent in the Cotswolds, which Blenheim is on the edge of.
This region of outstanding natural beauty is characterised by attractive small towns and thatched villages of yellow Cotswold stone made prosperous by the historic wool trade. You'll visit Great Tew, where the traditional post office and local pub give the village an atmosphere of times gone by.
With a variety of different villages there is something to see around every corner of the The Cotswolds. The magnificent high street in Burford slopes gently away to the bridge that crosses the River Windrush, while the village of Bibury was described by William Morris as the 'prettiest village' in the Cotswolds.
