The De Salis Hotel Stansted Airport is a recently built hotel on the edge of the airport but away from from the main flight path.
The hotel offers cheap Stansted hotel rooms and is just north of the airport in open countryside within sight of the terminal buildings.

The hotel is in open countryside just north east of the airport, the terminal complex can be seen from the hotel. For a major London Airport the countryside is surprisingly undeveloped. There is little in the immediate area but flat agricultural land.
