For
most destinations in South East England there are no direct services
to Heathrow. Transfers normally involve a tedious interconnection
in Central London.
Cost & Frequency
The broad choice for the traveller is between cheaper, less frequent
coaches, more prone to delays through traffic or the usually much
more expensive train option.
One other big advantage of travelling by coach, is a single interchange
in Central London making this option a lot less stressful. By rail
there is always a tedious interconnection between London stations,
either by crowded underground or taxi.
The overseas visitor is usually at a disadvantage as many of the cheaper
rail fares have to be booked well in advance, unlike the coach there
are no e-tickets |
