Magical creatures at SEA LIFE

SEA LIFE London Aquarium is divided into 'zones':

  • Ocean Invaders
  • Rain forest Adventure
  • Coral Kingdom

Within these three zones you'll get up close to an array of dazzling underwater creatures from octopuses to sharks, penguins, piranhas, crocodiles, catfish, poison dart frogs and many more.

Opening times

7 days a week from 10am to 4pm.

Opening times may be subject to change and tickets must be booked in advance.

Location

County Hall building on the south bank of the River Thames, near to the London Eye, The London Dungeon and Shrek's Adventure! London.

Nearest Underground and tube station

Waterloo/Embankment.

You can also walk from Westminster or Charing Cross stations.

What will you find at SEA LIFE?

You are strongly advised to book tickets in advance to go to the London Aquarium.

When booking you'll choose a date and 30-minute entry time slot.

Types of London Aquarium tickets

1) Standard on the day walk-up ticket

This is the most expensive basic ticket option, costing 10% more than purchasing in advance.

2) Standard advance ticket

Get timed entry to the London Aquarium, and save money by booking in advance. Choose your preferred date and arrival time and simply proceed through the booking process.

3) Promo codes for SEA LIFE Aquarium London - 2 for 1

Promotional codes are accepted at SEA LIFE and all can be redeemed online in advance. Most physical vouchers have a code printed on the voucher, usually towards the bottom. Promotional offers (including 2 for 1) can be found in a variety of printed leaflets, booklets, Railways 2 for 1 offer, and store purchases, such as food.

4) Standard ticket & Behind the Scenes

This ticket is around £7 more expensive than the standard ticket and gives you a very special experience to speak with staff who can tell you much more about the running of the aquarium. You will learn about their life support systems, SEA LIFE's breeding programmes, plus how they feed and care for the animals. A great option for those who want to learn a little bit more.

5) Anytime Entry

Anytime Entry is exactly as it sounds - a ticket with the flexibility to arrive at any time on the day of your choice. Tickets are around £10 more expensive than the standard ticket.

5) Standard ticket + Virtual Reality Experience

For less than £10 extra per head you can delve into hidden worlds with this unique VR experience - which also allows you to reschedule for free up to 24 hours in advance if your plans change.
