The ever popular open hop hop on, hop off tour buses offer a free cruise with City Cruises as part of their day ticket. This covers a river cruise in the centre of London giving a different and informative perspective to London's delights.

These buses offer comprehensive coverage covering nearly all the main sights in London and operate at very high frequencies. In the peak summer months just stand at any of the key attractions and there will probably be one in sight.

In addition to the bus tour and river cruise free walking tours are part of the deal. Tickets last for a 24 hour period on an unlimited ride basis for a flat fee.

Day Time Lunch & Tea Cruises

On a Riverdays cruise you are treated to the best views of London from the river from Westminster to Greenwich.

The lunch cruise leaves mid-day from Tower Pier in front of the Tower of London returning 105 minutes later.

The showboat cruise departs Westminster Pier opposite Big Ben in the evenings at 7.30 p.m. returning by 11 p.m.

Thamesjet Speedboat Experiences

Thamesjet! A full-on, adrenaline-fueled ride on the only jet boat fleet on the river (apart from police and military boats which patrol the Thames).

There are two experiences to choose from: thamesrush a 50 minute experience which starts at Westminster Pier, heads down-river past the riverside landmarks, then as we pass beyond Tower Bridge it's full speed showcasing the capabilities of the jet boat.

Then there's thamesmax a longer 75 minute experience which also starts at Westminster but then after Tower Bridge takes you for a full on blast all the way to the Thames Barrier.
