Walk Amongst the Stones on this Tour from London also Visiting Windsor & Oxford

Special Access Stonehenge

Special Access Stonehenge

Get up Close to the Stones at Stonehenge Like Few Visitors do at Sunset or Sunrise

Stonehenge is the most popular prehistoric monument in the world. Most visitors to the site are not allowed direct access to the stones, viewing from behind a low rope away from the stones.

On this tour you get that access, with a private viewing of the mysterious monoliths. We will enter the stone circle itself and stand beside the mighty Sarsen rocks towering above us.

You'll also visit Oxford and Windsor Castle either before or after your visit to Stonehenge.

Evan Evans Sunrise & Sunset Tours to Stonehenge Special Access Included Highlights:

- Access to Stonehenge beyond the ropes both early morning and evening sessions

- Guided private viewing of stones

- Entrance to Windsor Castle- Walking tour of Oxford- Visit Christ Church college Oxford (used in Harry Potter films)

- Luxury air conditioned motor coach and services of a professional guide

Days of Operation & Duration:

Special Access to Stonehenge, the term used for entry beyond the ropes to walk among the stones, take place outside public open hours.

There are early morning sessions and in the summer months, evening sessions too. A maximum of 30 people are allowed into Stonehenge each Special Access session.

Demand far outstrips supply and each year we get a fraction of the ticket allocation we would like. This year the Evan Evans allocation of tickets have fallen on Saturdays.

These tours tend to be sold out well before the date of travel, so do book early to avoid disappointment.

Evan Evans Sunrise & Sunset Tours To Stonehenge Itinerary:

The morning tour goes direct to Stonehenge, just under 2 hours from London. After Special Access we head north to Oxford. Then its back along the Thames Valley to our final stop at Windsor Castle before returning to London.

The evening session goes in the opposite direction visiting Windsor Castle, then Oxford before finally onto Stonehenge for an evening Special Access session.
