Aboard your luxury air-conditioned touring bus you have a professional guide for the entire day who will provide commentary and guiding throughout. It is a two hour journey to our first stop, Burford, our gateway town into the Cotswold region.

The Cotswolds represent an area that is forever England, remaining seemingly unchanged with the passing of time. Rolling landscapes, dry stone walls, perpendicular churches and sparkling clear streams fuse with tiny villages and hamlets with their charming limestone houses, tea shops and inns.

At Burford, we park off the magnificent High Street, which slopes down to the River Windrush holding every variety of Cotswold stone. There will be time to visit the small tea houses before heading south onto Bibury.

Tranquil Bibury, Cotswolds, day tour from London
Tranquil Bibury with the River Coln

Bibury was described as the 'The most beautiful village in England' by William Morris. Bibury is a place many people return to time and time again, for its tranquility by the river, and old stone cottages and mills.

After a short walking tour, we make our way to a 17th century former coaching inn, the Swan hotel, where you can enjoy a fabulous two course lunch in the centre of Bibury, overlooking the River Coln. The Swan serves a range of traditional cooking, ales and fine wines. On rare occasions an alternative may be used if the Swan cannot be used.
