Special Inner Access at Stonehenge at Sunset

Inner Circle Access to the Stones at Stonehenge After Public Opening Hours

An inner access or special access Stonehenge tour is only available to a small minority of visitors to Stonehenge. The Stonehenge inner access tours take place outside normal Stonehenge public opening hours.

Demand for inner access tickets far exceeds supplies and tickets are sold out often months in advance. Tour operators get an allocation of dates and tickets a year or so in advance and when they're gone, they're gone.

For most visitors who want inner access to Stonehenge and only have a handful of dates its not a matter of picking and choosing a tour but seeing if there is any availability on any tour for your dates.

Golden Tours Inner Access Sunset Tours To Stonehenge Itinerary:

Special Access to Stonehenge, is the official term used for inner access beyond the ropes to walk among the stones that take place outside public open hours.

A maximum of 30 people are allowed into Stonehenge on each inner access Stonehenge session.

Frequency of this tour is normally twice weekly during the summer months, but if you are looking within a few weeks, availability may be few and far between or even non existent.

The tour leaves London mid-morning from the Golden Tours office in Victoria just behind the railway/underground station and there is also a pick-up in Kensington available close to Gloucester Road Underground Station.

The tour is scheduled to last around 9 hours and the return to London at both pick-up points is scheduled around 10pm (11pm in July and August due to later sunsets).

The tour visits Stonehenge last of all. The afternoon is spent exploring Lacock and Georgian Bath with an optional lunch option available.

This beautifully preserved bathing complex still flows with water from Britain's only hot spring.

Marvel at the dazzling torch–lighting ceremony as dusk falls (not applicable in summer) and sip Bath's healing waters in the Pump Room, a stunning neo–classical salon.
