Weekend 3-day short break by train or coach to Paris

Two nights' 3-star accommodation in Paris hotel with boat cruise & guiding

Seine River Cruise and Eiffel Tower, Paris
Relax on a Seine River Cruise

On offer are two budget weekend breaks deals to Paris; the first by highspeed Eurostar train, the second by coach. Typically the Paris tours will depart London early on a Friday morning and return Sunday evening - the second tour is normally only available in January, February and July only.

If there is a national holiday in the UK on the Monday, tours will normally run Saturday to Monday. At Easter a 4-day break is offered.

These Paris weekend breaks offer great value for money. Accommodation in Paris is typically at an Ibis brand hotel in Paris.

The vast majority of Paris weekend tours use fast Eurostar trains taking just over 2 hours from London's St Pancras Station where you join the tour to the heart of Paris. A small number of tours travel to Paris by touring coach.

All tours offer an included sightseeing tour covering the highlights of Paris. A choice of optional tours and activities means you can be as independent as you like.

Travel by fast Eurostar train with two nights 3* hotel in the city centre.

This tour offers a fully guided experience for you to really maximise your time in Paris.

Day 1

On arrival there is a fully guided tour of the city by coach with time for lunch on the Champs Elysees.

After checking in to the hotel the tour relaxes on a river cruise along the River Seine. Glide past many iconic sights like The Louvre and Notre Dame, then end the cruise at the Eiffel Tower with a chance to climb to the very top.

Day 2

After breakfast the next morning you head to historic Montmartre to learn of the struggles of the artists that lived there, from Renoir to Van Gogh. After a guided walk, head to Notre Dame cathedral and the Latin Quarter with a break for lunch.

In the afternoon there is an optional visit to the majestic Palace of Versailles.

Day 3

On your final day you will spend the morning at the most famous museum in the world, the Louvre. Admire the Mona Lisa, see the Venus de Milo, Michelangelo's Slaves, Delacroix' Liberty Leading the People and David's Consecration of Napoleon

Entry to the Louvre must be pre-booked (click through on banner below for more details).

Once you arrive in Paris, the itinerary is very similar to tour 2, though of course the coach you used to travel from the UK is used for travel around Paris.

As a result of the longer journey time travelling to and from Paris by road you arrive slightly later and depart slightly earlier than the Eurostar train tour.
