Small group tours offer an intimate & relaxing experience

Why choose these 2-3-day English regional small group tours?

London is not England, in fact its a totally different culture and pace of life to much of the rest of the country. London is very multi-cultural, busy, crowded where people always seem to be in a rush with no time to stop and linger.

Outside London it is different with a more traditional and relaxed, friendly ambiance. Day tours from London offer glimpses of some of the finest sights, these short break tours allow you to properly explore a region of England.

Tour 1 - Windsor, Stonehenge, Bath & Oxford   Tour 2 - Stonehenge, Glastonbury, Bath & South West   Tour 3 - Yorkshire Dales & Peak District   What to expect   Accommodation & luggage

Tours are a mix of sights that you will find in all the guide books and other discoveries that only a knowledgeable local can bring to your attention. Tours are a maximum of 16 people with a driver guide (in a top-of-the-range, 16-seat Mercedes mini-coach), providing a personalised service during the tour.

All tours include the option to add on 3-star accommodation with breakfast.

No tour group is identical but travellers on these tours tend to be 25-35 or over 45 years with a slight bias to females. Travellers tend to be inquisitive, independent and well educated that appreciate the informed presence of a tour leader.

What to expect, what is included

There is an underlying assumption on these tours that a substantial number of travellers want a degree of independence and not be tied to the entire group all the time in what they see and do at each location visited.

The key thing to understand with this tour is that admissions are not included unless stated, you can pick and choose what you want to see at the pace you want to see them.

The driver-guide is there to tell stories, give insights and answer your questions. Once at a destination it will vary how much if any guiding is performed by the driver-guide, the accent is to enable you to see and experience what is most rewarding for you personally within a small group.

Accommodation, food & luggage

Tours are priced without accommodation included. However a range of accommodation options to book are available, or alternatively you can choose your own.

Accommodation options include guest houses or hotel with breakfast.

Single rooms and family rooms are available.

Food and drink is not included in the tour price except breakfast.

Your driver-guide will provide guidance on the best options throughout the tour.
